“We began our search for a good business coach after our new business started to stall and lose direction. We were becoming frustrated with our lack of sales progress and margins which were being squeezed to say the least. After deciding to find a good business advisor, we ended-up paying a lot of money to a big, Australia-wide coaching company that looked the part and used very expensive looking documents. Unfortunately, all the money that we spent didn’t result in much business improvement with an overly-theoretical approach taken with little in the way of real-world experience to back it up. So, we decided to go back to struggling away on our own again.

Some things that Owen changed seemed simple yet we had not seen them like creating a separate, retail shop area filled with our products. Other things such as pricing and marketing took more work but resulted in much larger margins so that we didn’t have to struggle to pay our bills every month like before. Owen kept us accountable and pushed us along when needed but always with and understanding of what was reasonable given our work and family commitments.
